Bluewater, the Swedish company at the forefront of premium water and beverage solutions, will officially present its celebrated Café Station at this year’s London Coffee Festival.
In association with UK distributor HTG, Bluewater will occupy Booth HP30 from 15th–18th May at the Truman Brewery, bringing its acclaimed water innovation to the heart of London’s coffee scene.
The Café Station has already turned heads on the global stage, recently appearing at major events in Dubai and Houston. Among its growing list of accolades are the ‘Best New Product’ title at Dubai’s World of Coffee Expo and a 2024 ‘Best Buy’ nod from The Caterer Magazine.
Purpose-built for specialty coffee environments, the Café Station empowers baristas to fine-tune the mineral profile of their water, enhancing flavour clarity and enabling a bespoke brew for every bean.
“The market response has been phenomenal,” said Dave Noble, Bluewater spokesperson. “We’re thrilled to introduce this innovation to the UK’s rapidly expanding specialty coffee scene.”
Attendees will witness the technology in action through live demonstrations from high-profile baristas such as Douglas Conde, Day Trip, Tom Sixsmith, Batch Baby, and Mathew Harvey-Ingram. They’ll use Bluewater’s hyper-purified water along with LiquidRock®, a patented mineral blend formulated in Sweden.
LiquidRock® is engineered to deliver a precise calcium-magnesium balance, maximising flavour potential and supporting hydration. Importantly, it also reduces limescale buildup—critical for maintaining coffee machines. With adjustable settings across three levels—light, medium, and bold—baristas can align their water with specific bean characteristics.
Drawing over 22,000 guests and showcasing more than 260 premium brands, the London Coffee Festival offers an immersive experience for industry professionals and coffee lovers alike. With tastings, workshops, and live sessions, it celebrates the UK’s dynamic coffee culture.
With over 8,000 branded cafés and a market worth £15 billion, the UK coffee industry is thriving. Britons now consume close to 98 million cups daily, reflecting rising demand for premium brews and advanced tools like the Café Station.
“Water makes up more than 98% of a cup of coffee, yet it’s often ignored as a key ingredient,” added Noble. “The Café Station gives baristas complete control to brew with the purest, best-balanced water possible.”
