Anna Mosley Urges UK Businesses to Cultivate Change-Resilient Leadership as AI Transforms Workplaces

Eighty™ founder and high-performance coach Anna Mosley is urging UK business leaders to develop mentally fit teams and prioritise Change Intelligence — warning that without it, companies could falter during the current AI-driven transformation.

Fresh from speaking at The Scottish Business Conference 2025 and The Recruitment Network’s CEO Huddle, Mosley says many organisations are charging ahead with technology adoption without first ensuring their leaders can handle the pressure of rapid change.

Anna said: “In the current business climate of fast-paced tech advancements, Change Intelligence is an essential leadership metric for success that is too often overlooked.”

Through her work with Eighty™, Mosley empowers business leaders to raise their EQ (Emotional Intelligence) and CQ (Change Intelligence), helping them lead with clarity, calm, and resilience. Her coaching style is already influencing high-profile brands such as ghd, Sacla, and Beauty Works.

According to Mosley, CQ is what enables leaders to stay composed, embrace ambiguity, and view setbacks as opportunities. A high-CQ leader leads with empathy and decisiveness, building trust and stability within their teams, especially in uncertain or high-pressure scenarios.

“People follow confidence, not chaos,” Mosley added. “The businesses that thrive will be the ones whose leaders remain calm in unknown, able to guide their teams through disruption, not around it.”

The need for this mindset is highlighted by Microsoft’s 2025 Work Trend Index, which reports that 78% of UK workers are already using AI at work — but a third of employers confess their digital readiness is lacking. Mosley argues that Change Intelligence is the missing link between technological innovation and successful implementation.

She is also advocating for CQ to be considered during the hiring process. “We screen for skills and experience, but how often are we asking: Can this person navigate uncertainty? Can they bounce back fast? Will they strengthen team culture in a crisis? CQ should be part of the recruitment conversation.”

Having spent more than a decade in the leadership space, Mosley’s insights and programmes are helping organisations take a proactive, human-centred approach to modern leadership.
