Craner & Kirkman Scales Up with New HQ Following £500K Turnover Under Founder Tom Singleton

E-commerce logistics company Craner & Kirkman has moved into a brand-new headquarters at Soloman Park in Ilkeston, following impressive growth that has seen the business exceed £500,000 in turnover in under three years. The move marks a major step forward under the leadership of founder Tom Singleton.

Singleton, who previously served as an Account Director at Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) in Birmingham, launched Craner & Kirkman after leaving the agency world to pursue entrepreneurship. Originally a side venture, the business now supports thousands of orders across platforms such as Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Etsy, and eBay.

More Room, More Capability

The new facility more than doubles the firm’s operational capacity, enabling Craner & Kirkman to meet surging demand from both domestic and EU sellers. Known for its 24–48 hour turnaround times and seller-first service model, the team continues to prioritise efficiency, transparency, and flexibility.

“We’ve built this business from the ground up — no outside funding, just good service and word of mouth,” said Singleton. “Moving into our new HQ gives us room to grow, but it also lets us keep raising the bar for e-commerce logistics.”

Owned Fleet Sets Service Apart

One of Craner & Kirkman’s standout features is CK Logistics — its fully owned in-house fleet, which ensures complete control over deliveries to Amazon Fulfilment Centres. This level of oversight is rare in the prep space and is a key part of the firm’s appeal.

“Most prep centres rely on third-party hauliers — we don’t,” Singleton added. “Our vans. Our drivers. Our timing. It means fewer delays, more control, and a better experience for our clients.”
