Mario Carrozzo: Caridon Group

Having left school at the age of 16, Mario Carrozzo went on to head several successful organisations. Today he serves as founder and CEO of Caridon Group, a group of companies he built from the ground up that grew to become a leading private provider of social housing, successfully housing more than 10,000 tenants. Since Caridon Property was founded in 2009, Caridon Group has pioneered the UK real estate industry, providing award-winning service to both landlords and tenants.

At the age of 14, Mario Carrozzo was already demonstrating a natural flair for enterprise, working alongside his father in the family catering and property businesses while still at school. It was here that he gained invaluable entrepreneurial experience and life skills, which later played an instrumental part in his success. Marrio Carrozzo purchased his first property at the age of 18, using his own savings. Over the years, he continued to expand his skills in real estate planning, construction and housing, building a strong network of contacts in the banking and property sectors. For more than two decades, Mario Carrozzo has continued to run several pioneering property businesses, amassing a substantial self-made portfolio.

Mario Carrozzo founded Caridon Property in 2009. Having identified a gap in the market following the recession, he pledged to assist individuals impacted by the economic downturn. Utilising his knowledge and experience as both a developer and landlord, Mario Carrozzo pioneered one of London’s first rent guarantee schemes, serving as a guarantor for vulnerable tenants struggling to find accommodation while also assuring landlords of a reliable income. Over the past 15 years, Caridon Property Group has gone from strength to strength and is now an award-winning, multi-million pound real estate development and lettings company dedicated to serving local communities.
