The BS IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition, specifically codes AG2-AG3, recommend the installation of reinforced protection in areas with a potential for medium to high impact. The IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Equipment Installation mandates that publicly accessible charging stations be equipped to withstand a minimum impact severity of AG2, as defined in BS76741 (18th Edition).
