Furniture Industry’s Prestigious Call: “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul”

The global furniture industry, wrapping up 2023 with a remarkable $740 billion, is now preparing for the International Istanbul Furniture Fair, taking place from the 23rd to the 28th of January. This esteemed event, an emblematic and prestigious gathering in the sector, is set to attract 200,000 professionals from across the globe.

The global furniture sector is convening at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF2024), scheduled from the 23rd to the 28th of January. Organised in collaboration with TUYAP Fair Organisation Group and Mos Fair Organisation, and supported by the Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED), this event is expected to host 200,000 industry experts from 200 countries. Featuring over a thousand companies and 3,000 brands, the fair will be held at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center.

Known as a distinguished event in the furniture sector, the fair, themed “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul,” will feature the latest 2024 designs from various product groups for visitors to explore.

“We continue to produce with over 45,000 manufacturers”

“In a sector that grows every year, our focus is always on providing the best possible products. This has placed us among the global leaders in furniture manufacturing. With over 45,000 manufacturers, we continue to produce across all product categories. Crafting potent, quality designs, we engage with our stakeholders through IIFF and showcase our industry capabilities. We invite the entire industry to our fair, where we will display the 2024 furniture trends,” conveyed Ahmet Güleç, President of MOSFED, the supporter of IIFF and the foremost organisation in the Turkish furniture industry.

İlhan Ersözlü, General Manager of Tuyap Fairs Organisation, highlighted the global importance of IIFF, remarking:

“Hosting a fair across multiple sites in our industry is a unique global challenge. Yet, Tuyap has effectively managed the third edition of IIFF at both Tuyap Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center, completing all necessary preparations. We’re hosting one of the most extensive furniture fairs in the world. Our contribution to both the country’s and sector’s export figures is substantial. At IIFF2024, we will connect 200,000 business individuals from many countries with 3,000 brands, through our international offices and network. We warmly invite everyone to this significant industry event in Istanbul.”

Fostering an Energetic Environment for New Partnerships

According to ResearchAndMarkets’ data, the global furniture sector, which concluded 2023 with $739.44 billion, is anticipated to rise to $935.9 billion by 2027. Türkiye, with its annual production of $12 billion, is preparing to host its international counterparts. The IIFF will showcase various types of furniture, including modern modular, luxury, beds and bases, baby and children’s, youth room, garden, office-school furniture, and accessories.

Over six days, IIFF2024 will organise its exhibition halls at the Istanbul Fair Center and Tuyap Fair and Congress Center, categorising them by product types. This will allow visitors to comprehensively explore a diverse range of products. Additionally, the fair aims to create a dynamic atmosphere conducive to forging new business relationships.
