The SureStore Southport facility introduces an unprecedented level of innovation to the self-storage industry, covering 1.4 acres and providing 55,000sqft of lettable space. With 500 units available, this 4th Generation facility is equipped to handle a wide array of storage needs, from business inventory requirements to personal storage solutions for residents.
This leading-edge facility in Southport was developed in collaboration with investment partners Seneca, transforming a previously Tesco-owned site into a modern, sustainable storage solution in line with SureStore’s futuristic vision of self-storage.
In addition to offering secure storage units ranging from 10sqft to more than 250sqft, SureStore Southport also provides versatile trade counters, office space for local businesses, and units designed for last-mile logistics. The facility is further enhanced by a partnership with Hertz for van hire and substantial parking facilities, making it a comprehensive hub for logistics and transportation needs.
Situated at Scarisbrick New Road, the facility is conveniently located for customers in Southport town centre and the surrounding areas, including Banks, Rufford, Ormskirk, and Formby.
SureStore continues to set the standard in the self-storage industry, improving the customer experience with innovative solutions such as the Nokē smart keyless entry system, which uses Bluetooth for smooth Smart Entry. The bespoke SureStore app also offers customers the ability to easily manage their storage units, access, and user permissions, providing unmatched convenience and flexibility.
In keeping with its commitment to sustainability, SureStore opened its first net zero carbon storage facility in Wokingham in 2022. The new SureStore Southport furthers this commitment by incorporating solar panels to decrease its carbon footprint and embrace green energy. The facility is also looking towards the future with the installation of EV superchargers, enabling vehicles to charge up to 80% in just 30 minutes.
